Verde Limón

A Mexican landrace from Chiapas, Verde Limón is very famous in Mexico and almost unknown outside of it. She reeks of citrus— sour lemon over earth and pine, with the flavor following the nose exactly. Flowers tightly twist around the stem and branches and carry heavy resin, with big yields for a landrace sativa. The effect is upbeat, relaxed, and genuinely giggly, which is classic for a Mexican Cultivar. There is also notable CBG which buffers any anxiety and adds to the effect. Great for parties or if you just want some sunshine in your life.
Heritage Notes
Chiapas sits at the southern edge of Mexico’s cannabis-growing country, where highland valleys and a long season support the tall, citrus-forward sativas that Mexican growers have prized among themselves for decades — even as the wider world overlooked them. Verde Limón was repopulated from lines held by breeders in Mexico rather than reconstructed from memory. Preserving it as an inbred line keeps something genuinely regional intact.
