Freaky Jesus
A hybrid of two rare cultivars
Farming two legendary cultivars for several seasons has resulted in a hybrid that’s truly unique—our vintage "Freaky Jesus." A descendant from two rare spiritual plants, Big Sur Holy Weed and Black African Magic, this one is special and exudes that old school experience of the infamous weed from the 70s. Not a modern varietal by any stretch, Freaky Jesus is a prime example of the Sugar Hill Farm approach—combining original genetics to come up with something new for discerning cannabis customers. Legend has it that there was once a version of Big Sur Holy Weed that was bred with an African landrace for more sativa-leaning effects, making it uplifting and mellow at the same time. We like to think this one hits that target.
Heritage Notes
With a playful approach working with two of our favorite cultivars, Black African Magic x Big Sur Holy Weed, we were seeking a holy convergence of the genetics from a mythical heirloom and legendary landrace. Maintaining dominate Sativa characteristics, we also had the goal of exploring a recreation of a Big Sur Holy Weed that allegedly had been crossed with an African Landrace.
