Our own farm cultivar, African Gold is the culmination of selective breeding of two legendary landrace strains, Malawi Gold & Swazi Gold. These are our F-1 plants meaning the first generation of a cross and we will continue to refine the genetics after this season and comprehensive lab testing. True to all African landraces, African Gold is a true sativa with cerebral effects and clear energy.

Heritage Notes
The Southern African Region has one of the oldest continuous cannabis traditions known. This has been a particular focus in our breeding and preservation program. African Gold is an example of modern breeding by using ancient landraces in order to develop something unique on our menu. With the parents of two famous lines, Malawi Gold x Swazi Gold, we continue to grow this out each season and select for prodigy that is best suited to the terrior of our own farm.
