Delving Deeper into the Complexities of Cannabis

Pushing THC levels sky-high makes about as much sense as 80 proof wine. Maximizing THC is not the point, and will actually undermine the experience. Cannabis is comprised of many compounds, including—terpenes and cannabinoids—that work synergistically for a unique experience when properly balanced. With the lack of historical research in the cannabis field, we felt it was important to start to track the effects of our specific cultivars we grow at Sugar Hill Farm. Keep in mind that everyone has a unique metabolism and effects will differ from person to person. That being said, from our experience and previous customer feedback, we believe there are some shared possible effects that can help the consumer to make better decisions when making a selection.

Effects Research & Terpene Mapping

At The Bohemian Chemist, we’ve partnered with researcher scientists to examine the effects of various terpenes and cannabinoids in order to cultivate cannabis for specific benefits. If you’ve used our products, we invite you to participate in our “E-Effects” (Entourage Effects) program to enable us to compile a polling database for customers so they can make better informed decisions on which of our cultivars will most likely produced a specific desired outcome for them.
